Porting LCR/S3 inlet manifold.....

Hi jabbasport.

Have you ever ported a mk1 audi s3/LCR inlet manfiold? If so what gains did you see? I've got a spare manifold thats been painted and before i fit was wondering if this would be worth doing.

Regards,

Dan.

Hi Dan,

We have ported one of these before but i couldn't comment on the gains as we always did it with a ported head as well.

We can certainly port it and match it to the gasket if you'd like though, no problem.

Cheers
Kevin

So what would you port kevin, just the runners or the runners and main body of the inlet? I'd want to run the manifold on a standard smallport head for now.

What type of gasket would i need, a smallport to largeport phenolic gasket? Also how much would the porting cost?

Regards,

Dan.

No response jabba!!!!

If you do respsond, would you be able to port match a R32 TB to the manifold along with securing it into position?

Hi Dan,

Apologies, i was away last week on RTC training with Lincs Fire & Rescue.

We'd usually just port the runners, we could mount the R32 TB to the manifold but from memory these require an adaptor don't they?

Thanks
Kevin
