Turned me EGR off

Had a play with Vag-Com this weekend and managed to succesfully back my EGR off to the minimum. will have to see what its like next weekend mayabe, as didnt get chance for a test run and dont use the car during the week.

Twas a nice easy tweak though. Me liked having a look through at all the other information you can see about ur engine, a geeks paradise :spin:

That a good reason to do some logging on intake temps. You latter compare them to summer values and see what the difference is.

Right now I'm trying to figure out if the ECU controls the oil temp.?

well I turned mine off about 10 days ago, with a nail (approx 1") for R&D purposes only of course and so far no CEL light has appeared. I am pretty disgusted however to find so much oil in the inlet system, what's the favored interception method ??

Do a search on CCV bypass. I'm putting together a how-to this week, so m0rk or Zboyd should be posting it up.
