HID bulb fitting inside lamp...

I have just received my new head lights (twin reflector type from cupra )....

I got my HID kit from HID direct (H7R 6000k) as recommended and I was wondering when I come to fit the bulbs where to I position them ? Do I get them as level as possible?
As when I put the bulb clip over its pulls it either up or down. Anyone have any tips on how to place the HID bulb in the right place ?

And.... In my old TDI sport head lights there is a cover over the H7 Bulb and on these new head lights I have, there is not, Does this make any difference ?
