Rear Wiper & fog lights...

Hi all,

I drive a '99 1.6 Vario S.

After some recent heavy rainfall, my rear wiper has stopped working.

When I push the button, the fog light indicator on the dash comes on (it comes on intermittently, when the wiper would kick in), so I'm sure the switch is ok.

Fog lights however don't work at all, and the indicator comes on permanently when I turn the headlights on.

Got me baffled... what wires do I need to be fiddling with, and where are they?

Cheers
Mike

Check the earth wires in the rear, they're in by the lights, also might be worth checking the wiring under the dash, there's plenty of it but up behind the fuse box is a big bunch of connectors for everything, might be worth pulling them out and plugging them back in one at a time but I would leave that till you've tried the rear lights first.

Thanks, will take a look.

Once I've sorted this, I'll be back to discuss door locks...!
