S3 Test with just 80mm TIP fitted.. JR filter on there previously

Latest Dyno of an S3 on the 80mm B5 TIP only mod made, previously JR & normal silicon TIP, on stage 2 REVO (early revo 4bar code). Cars setup on B9T9 plus 4.5deg more ign on unisettings (ealry revo 4bar code was conservative compaed to current stage 2s)
Torque AND Power gains across the board, and reduced spool time.. MORE TORQUE EVERYWHERE

Lovely sustained torque curve on that one Bill, nice increases everywhere!

Have you got the other sheet with the numbers on? Looks like it's gone from ~248 - ~265 ish, and 250lbft - 265ish? You seem to be testing loads of these this week!

I am fitting quite a few currently.. just coincidence I guess they have come within a few days of each other.

When tested "properly" the 80mm V2 TIp has gains everywhere on cars I have fitted to and had results back from... Some mis-information touted from other suppliers to the contrary is simply that, mis-information and unfounded.. there is no higher performing TIP for K04's out there... All I see is faster spool, more torque, and longer sustained torque, hence more power. 80mm TIP outperforms 3" TIP - PERIOD

Keep em coming Bill, very impressive.
Whats interesting with this is that revo fueling is spot on. I wonder if its the LCR code only that runs too rich.

interesting i spoke to revo on the phone this morning about that that and the guy confirmed that it should be in the mid to low 12s , under 12 sounds like a tiny leak somewhere but mine was smoke leak tested and no leaks so confused ?

I've discussed it with them too but they won't have it, maybe time for a new thread in the appropriate section so as not to muddle this excellent thread.

3" aint 80mm 23% Larger Cross Sectional Area on V2 80mm B5 TIP over and above 3" TIP

Revo1 before on silicon TIP/Neuspeed filter B7t4, Revo2 after with 80mm V2 B5 TIP/JR B8t5
just picked my car up from bill and the guys at badger5 after having the b5 80mm tip and jr filter kit fitted and a stage 2 revo remap.
impressed isnt the word! it feels amazing!
it pulls so much harder all the way through the rev range. and thanks to the tip bill logged air flow at 220 gs, the highest recorded being at 227 gs, so well chuffed with that.
the actual fit and finish of the tip is spot on and it really seems to have unlocked the potential of the engine!
as bill and the guys could probably hear from the workshop i was losing traction and spinning the wheels in 4th gear!!!
i really cant say enough, not only for this product but also for bill himself. he really takes time to explain any problems or faults so that the layman (me!) can actually understand them.
so, good work that man, and thanks again.
adam.

THAT's what I was hoping to see, direct comparison on the same car with otherwise the same mods. Good result, I'll be shopping for one of these as soon as funds allow.
