What warning lights are this?

I don't think there are any lights in there - I think it's just a design feature of the dashboard.

However the dash was shared with the Polo of a similar age, so it may be that the VW used them for something?

defo no lights behind there, just think it was a style thing.

One of them are for the automatic gearbox displays maybe? I'm sure I've looked behind them before, and there was a blank for a possible bulb holder on the circuit board which was never cut out?

sorry dude - vids long gone - as is the car

but I can tell you there is nothing behind the 2 slots so a little room to add/mod a small shift light or two

mine was a custom 10 led strip so I moved all the 6 lower warning lights to the 2 side panels in a sort of double traffic lights setup

then chopped up the bottom to squeeze the shift light in along the bottom. all hidden under clear lenses - looked pretty good to be honest



Car itself is local so ill call him and see if I can get a working vid again though
