Is this oil any good?
I usually get my oil from yourselves, but I visited my local motor-factors today to find they were selling this for £3.99;
![]() It was flying off the shelf, so I found myself buying 25Litres off the stuff. I know its old oil (I did ask but they didn't know - supposedly found it in their warehouse.) Due to the age of the stuff and the grade - I wouldn't use it in my daily drive, but I have a track car which is a 2001 Fiesta 1.6 - would it be ok for use in that? If its a load of rubbish ill use it as flushing oil! - Many thanks.

It's a good oil, but too thick for the Fiesta, a good 5w-40 is better for that. Put it on Ebay, you'll make a good profit I think. I sold some old stock of Mobil on there and some of it went for more than what the new stuff costs on our site.
Cheers Tim

Will it be usable after all these years, or does it degrade? I probably will throw it on ebay - Halfrauds sell it for £16 per litre (although im guessing the blend has probably changed a lot)

I don't think the oil has changed massively and it's been discontinued now anyway. As it's been kept sealed, it should be absolutely fine to use.
Cheers Tim
