LC_15 Homegrown BTCC Kit Leon Cupra - APR stage 2, Race exhaust, Painted Rocker Cover
Well after a test drive, I was sold, traded in my old Leon Cupra and got a mk2 Leon cupra, i pick it up on Saturday.
To say am excited is an understatement. ![]() ![]() ![]() need to know some performance sort of stuff, as am new to these. Couple of questions: Dump Valves, are they worth it etc. Intake's what the best/worthwhile, want nice sound. Exhaust which is best to get? Here are some pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() SO EXCITED. Wasnt really allowed to give it full throttle as had car salesman with me but damn it felt responsive and the brakes are really sharp as we all found out. so excited want about 300bhp from it. Thanks Last edited by LC_15; 12-04-2012 at 22:22. |

Very nice mate. Simple remap will net you 300 ponies worth. Check out my RR thread and you should get an idea of what you can do to your motor. I will be going stage 2+ with about 360BHP soon in the new year. Lovely looking motor though and nice and tidy.

Tidy looking motor, that! Brakes are real good ain't they?
Most people go ITG or Forge for intakes though there are cheaper alternatives. Exhaust wise milltek are real popular. Plenty build threads on here for you to take through for info, though. |

so so so happy with it and it really does shift, will be getting mapped as soon as money permits it. Want to make it a little louder and get a forge spacer? anyone know anything like this?

New Pictures:
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() But just found out some great news too, has a little squeek on idle, sounds like a budgie so done a search sounds like the cambelt needs replacing, there is a knock coming from driver side suspension. so great weekend for me so far from picking up the car to so far. So am waiting till tomorrow and speaking to service department and will be going in for warranty on cambelt and driver side shock. other than that absolutely loving the car pulls so hard. |

Yeah I moved from my civic to this and i an 20 lol its mental quick and you get a lot for your money oh btw I bought the car with 53k on it and it was registered in April 2007, now I have access to autodata and it says cambelt should have been changed at 120k or 48 months. Now it was serviced by the dealer I bought it from in May last year which would mean it should have been done then but no record of this and they sold it to me sayin it was not due? But it obviously is.
Now I an waiting to hear from them tomorrow for the knock and I will be going ballistic at them if it should have been done before selling it as it was due and this means the vehicle is unroadworthy as it could blow the engine etc so not happy at all. |

You don't even wanna know the isdsues I had with mine from the dealers. I gave up after SEATUK decided to back the dealer and not me when I complained to them so I will sort it myself now rather.

Bit of an update:
Cause of the suspension knock - Spring and shock absorber. Cambelt - Being replaced. SO happy but took me to ring up Seat uk and get confirmation about the 120,000km or 4 years renewing. Which is correct. So that is being done at the moment so all my worries are gone wahooooooo. now save for remap D: |

Glad you're sorted mate. I ordered up a cambelt kit from Dave @ Sere today and will probs have it done on Saturday along with the rear bushes. Once that's all done I will be a happy camper for a while again lol.
