After a scare in a car park yesterday I've decided I need some parking sensors for the Ibiza as the rear visibility/ blind spots are starting to annoy me. Has anyone done an OEM retrofit, or is aftermarket the way to go? Is it an easy enough DIY job?

Easy to fit I believe as the bumper has the markings on the inside for where you need to drill the pilot holes for fitting.

I went to the dealer to get a price - they quoted £200 fitted - then I found out that the dealer fit sensors are Cobra 0258 sensors.

The Cobra 0258 kit can be had for £60 so I will DIY fit them.

The OEM factory fit sensors have brackets on the back of the bumper to hold the sensors in from the rear.
AFAIK you cant copy the factory fit method with aftermarket kits.
