Ibiza + BMW iPod connection = DEVICE ERROR

Hi all

I've bought and been using the BMW iPod cable in my Ibiza but every now and then, it stalls and I get a device error requiring me to unplug the usb connector from the car and plug it back in again. Although not a huge headache, it's quite annoying when it happens regularly once or twice a week, usually in quick succession. Does anyone else have experience of this when using this cable or might mine be a tad faulty? The position of the usb port and 3.5mm plug is such that they both push against each other but I can't see any reason why this would affect it unless the connections are loose.

Any input/experiences?

X

I have the SEAT dock and get device error sometimes. Maybe once a month or so, but I put it down to my iPod being really old (5th gen iPod video) and the battery will be flat some mornings even though it's been in the dock all the time.

I'm getting device error all the time now, regardless if I'm using the iPod dock, a memory stick or aux lead. Only things working are the radio and cd player
Gonna have to get it booked in to get looked at
