Brian Crower rods....anyone??

Hi all...
Car is begging for rods..has anyone used brian crower rods in there car?

Ive read some say do some say dont..
I m not looking to rev to 9k plus...just something stonger than std,and something thats not going to cost the earth..

From my experience brian crower are a very highly regarded make.

Cheers for info.

They don't offer rifle drilling on the rods...
Is it essential?
Are the std ones rifle drilled?

Anybody out there's fitted non rifle drilled rods?

yes std ones are rifle drilled...
non rifle drilled may develop small end rattle over miles...

I would, in fact i did, i just thought if the OE ones are drilled, VW/Audi did it for a reason, so for the relatively small extra cost its worth it.
