Promenade stages, N. brighton, Wirral.

Don't know if any of you Seat fans live in the merseyside area...being new in here as a Briskoda orphan, but Wallasey Motor Club are holding their annual event around the all tarmac closed public highway of New Brighton promenade, this coming saturday 24th July, from 8:30.

Love to see some of you lads down there too! Don't want the place swamped with Skodas completely...even the course car is a Fabia Vrs

So that's one shiny new Vrs, one shiney used Vrs and a filthy abused Vrs then.

Which is yours?

Come on guys come down and watch people hurtle around our great roads.

I went a few years ago and thouroughly enjoyed the spectacle of Ford Pumas ripping of their wheels on the kerbs.

Well, anyone in here go then? If so what did you think. Seemed to run very smoothly, and very entertaining! So much for the return of summer they were promising though!

Must have been a couple of thousand speccys down there.....oh minus one late on..who was fantastically frogmarched through the paddock area, hancuffed to a rozzer for hurling abuse at marshals apparently.

There's always one ey!

Quality day spent marshalling - got the red windburnt face to prove it.

Why is it always the fords that breakdown (I won't mention the Felicia on stage 2). We had a MK1 and MK2 Escort expire on the first stage - the MK1 blew up big time and umped oli everywhere whilst the fire extinguishers soaked the co driver.

Then we had a Cosworth die on the exit of a very, very quick right left - cracking fun pushing a car with a Metro 6R4 hurtling up behind you - not.

Top day all round but the tart with Solbergs Monte Carlo Subaru needs to learn how to drive it properly.

Also he said the Course car got a bit of stick
