Aura V3 service manual.

HI,
for all who want to upgrade/adapt their stereo here's a link to the AURA V3 service manual. The Aura is made by grundig.

If your aura has a headphone button its the V3; the one without is the v4.

The connectors are of the ISO type.

The brouw connector contains the Loudspeaker outpots
The blue connectior goes to the CD changer
The one in the middel (the green one ?) is for display and telephine audio in
The one on the other end, I believe yellow, is the line out to the headphones

Section 1 - Not all of these are available on the Aura v4 (Headphone, Telephone, External Display)

6 Switched (+12V when unit is on)

8 External Display Clock
9 External Display Data
10 External Display Enable
11 Remote/ subw-NF ( Not sure of its function)
12 Telephone Audio In GND
13 CD Data In
14 CD Data Out
15 CD Clock
16 +A CD (Not sure of its function but related to CD changer)
17 Switched Power to CD
18 CD Audio In GND
19 CD Audio In L
20 CD Audio In R

Section 2 Speakers (Brown connector)
1 RR+
2 RR-
3 FR+
4 FR-
5 FL+
6 FL-
7 RL+
8 RL-

Section 3 Power (Black conncetor)
1 Speed Sense Wire
2 Telephone mute - Active low - Take to 0V to mute
3 OBD Diagnostics
4 Switched Ignition +12V
5 Antenna control (+12V when unit is on)
6 Illumination
7 Permanent +12V
8 Ground 0V

To be clear about the V4,

PINs 7 & 12, which are the pass through for the phone, aren't available (well the pins are there, but the function's not) but Pin 2 for phone mute on the Black Connector is.

Do you have any idea how to activete the CD changer with out a CD Changer?, I want to conect my Ipod to the 18, 19 and 20 connectors, but the Stereo swich back to radio.
