My first SEAT although my 5th car from the VAG stable, I collected my Lima Green Leon FR 184 on 27th February. It's probably the newest car I've owned so modifications/tweaks will be minimal to begin with. Here a few photos and the standard spec I bought:

- 184 Tdi FR
- Lima Green
- Titanium Pack
- Panoramic Sunroof
- Technology Pack
- Convenience Pack
- SEAT Sound

Running the build codes through a VAGDecoder I noticed a few interesting options/handy bits of info:
8GU = Alternator 140 A
J2D = Battery 380 A (68 Ah)
HM4 = Tyres 225/40R18 92Y XL
2b2 = Additional Exteroir Noise Suppression
7MJ = Emission Standard EU5 Plus (Not EU6!) :confused:

I'dd add a few photos along the way, and any mods I carry out. Here's a few to start:

I'm handy with VCDS so have enabled a few things on the car already (alarm chirp, carbon FIS, needle sweep, etc). Hoping to get back into exploring VCDS more and discovering more tweaks and hidden options.

Happy to help out fellow members in the Edinburgh/Central Belt area.

Awaiting delivery of fan washer, and have also ordered a MDI to Lightning Connector. Until I work out what's all required for upgrading to MIB2 and CarPlay functionality.

EDIT: Investigating into MIB2 parts I have managed to find and buy the following:

  • 5QA035858 - MIB2 Infortainment System Unit (with GPS and DAB)
  • 5F0919604A - Infotainment Screen 6.5"
  • 5G003522E - USB/Aux port

Very useful VCDS tweak

Yes, very handy to get an idea if you have filled properly or had an air-lock. One drawback is that it only changes in units of 5 litres, so it never says 42l to fill for instance, just goes from 40 to 45.

I do like the lime green seats, tried to get the missus to get an Ibiza in that colour! More pics needed! :D

Hey Dodds, I'm from Edinburgh but now living in Ayr, do you do VCDS code changes on the side so to speak, I'm really liking what I'm seeing on here. I'm regularly up and down to Edinburgh.

I've sent you a message mate. Am happy to do some coding for you.

Anybody else interested in a meet up I will be going along to the The Dubside Meet at Hermiston Gait Retail Park on Wedsnesday 5th April at 7pm.
