I think everyone that's bought different part numbers has found they had the hatch, not the estate version ![]() Pete

6Y6955707A - Fabia Wiper arm
Pete, think ur site might be wrong - ordered my parts and collected yesterday. Arm number is as above, not like your site. My dealer did not recognise your arm number...... |

A how to on a wiper change???? It's only one bolt
The numbers I used came directly off the invoice from the dealer I bought a load of them from. He found the part number for me as it had changed. Remember you need the ESTATE wiper arm otherwise it's far too short. Pete

Yeh, i know pete but sooo many people ask about it! Only takes about 5mins to write, so doing it anyway....
I used the same part numbers as you above, but the arm number was slightly different as mentioned above. 6Y9955707A was yours, and mine 6Y6955707A, so only 1 number different. Searching on these forums came up with both numbers lots of times, so dunno there :S When comparing, the new one is 35mm shorter than the old one which has been mentioned on these forums loads of times. Dealer told me the parts I have were estate arm/blade, and hatchback cover, and wondered why i ordered a mixture of parts! (Told him it was going on a Seat - and he looked at me strangely!) Anyway, my site will be updated with pics and brief how-to in about 15mins. |

afaik these are correct.
1x 6Y9955707A - Fabia Estate Wiper Arm 1x 6Y0955425 - Fabia Estate Wiper Blade 1x 6Y6955435 - Fabia Hatchback Wiper Cover it would seem the numbers are like so. 6Y99xxxxx - Fabia Estate 6Y69xxxxx - Fabia Hatchback anyone clarify this? |
