Cool

today has been a *good* day

I had a little, erm, 'competition' with a Golf V6-4Motion thing earlier today and managed to beat it!

They guy was *definately* going for it but it just didn't have it where it counted, I eased up when I reached 60-65 and he carried on, looking a little bit pished off

Now... that 210 conversion is going to be *great* fun.

Matt.

I had my first bit of fun yesterday whilst driving my brand new Ibiza 210 home from Amethyst...

The car had only done 6.5 miles when i picked it up so I was taking it easy.

Anyway, I was going down the M40 leaving a sensible gap between me and the car in front when some Toyota came flying up behind me and sat on my bumper. Anyway, it wasn't like i was being the slow one, there were cars in front of me. Next, he pulls into the middle lane and decides that he would floor it and undertake me..... oh no you don't! I put my foot down and closed the gap without any problems.
i don't think he was happy!
And the whole time I didn't take the revs above 3.5k!!!

can't wait til it losens up and I can use the full rev range!!!

Is'nt torque from 2000rpm a wonderful thing!
Lovely Jubbley. Addictive.
They certainly do loosen up with the miles on them. Amethyst's Leon 20VT with 4.5K miles is so loose and revvy is makes mine feel positively lethargic even now. I only have 2K miles at the moment on my month old beezer, so it bodes well for a quick machine when it really loosens off.
Big Grin!

hahahahahahahaha
