Re-mapping by speed buster?

Hi guys and girls

Has anyone heard or know of the company 'speed buster'?

I would consider getting my Leon Cupra R re-mapped, with Revo being the obvious choice.

But Ive come across this company who specialise in tuning and their prices for re-mapping seem to be half the price of Revo?

the website is www.speed-buster.de

A guy I work with bought there re-mapping service on ebay for about £200

A guy came to his house and programmed his ECU (Pug 407 estate).

Just wondering if any seat owners had used this company as £200 seems very cheap?

Any info much appreciated

Cheers

heard of them yes, their remap claims are below the likes of apr ecms and revo, i dontthink they do serial programming neither so its an ecu out job, been there got shafted. the ecu is prone to water ingress when its been opened before. id personally go the revo route as there are addons you can have at a later date.

TUV approval means FA - it's like ISO9001 - batch traceability

All people in germany who tune cars have to be TUV approved otherwise cars are not allowed to be put on the road or insured.

same with furniture thats manufactured, or a coffee machine, its just a 'standard' for traceabiliy, bit like a CE mark backed by insurers

Not quite, it means the product has been tested to the equivalent of 50,000km usage...
