need help with picking the right tools...

hello i'm new here
first you've got a great site
i found out about vag-com and i already got the softwer vag-com 303.1
now i want to order the cable that fitt to my car i have a seat leon cupra 20VT and 2003 (my brother) and main a seat leon 2005 FR in my garage. can you please tell me from this site:

what kind of cable i need to order.
and if somebodie realy know how to work with this software, please write a short guide in how to upgrade the car preformence without dameging it.
