Aftermarket Headunit

I'm looking at changing my 6 disc changer and head unit in my Leon to a aftermarket single slot cd. Is the Multi changer dificult to remove? Also the adaptor plate used to make the old hole to the correct size, has anyone seen them in another colour other than black? My center dash is Titanium and thats the colour i would like this plate.
Any info would be helpful.

changer comesout very easily, remove the thin plastic surround on the changer, it reveals a couple of screws, remove them and out it comes, disconect and push any harnesses left back into the recess.
the headunit cover only comes in black buy could be easily primered and painted. getting a good colour match could be fun though!
