how to remove alternator from ibiza tdi 1998

New on this site. Just having trouble removing bottom bolt from alternator as I am obstructed by bar with wheel attached. How can you remove bar to allow me to take alternator bolt out. Grateful if anyone could help as I have never worked on one of these
