Gear linkage adjustment

as the title says does any1 no how to adjust it, i no there is a a guide just below the gear gaitor where you can insert a punch or so on to set that up but where is it on the gearbox or do you have to adjust the cables

is it becoming clunky?? look on top of the gear box under the bonnet, you will see the linkage and three adjusters unscrew the adjuster and you have to slide the three jaws up and down the teeth on the linkage, takes a bit of playing around to get them working smoothly............good luck!

no it aint cluncky, all it is is since ive had the car the gearstick is just slighty forward of the centre wen in neutral, no problems just want to reset it so its central

so basically its down to trial and error of adjusting the cable selectors

problem is that it's easy to screw up things and spending hours of labour to put everything in the correct way,,,
