Testing ground!

Took my lcr on a 460 mile thrash around the scottish highlands testerday my route took me north of glasgow to fort william then onto isle of skye, from there back to the mainland and over to a tiny village on the west coast called applecross (a pub and a couple of boats), from there i drove over the highest road pass in britain, the bealach na ba. (a single track with passing places) very scary! then finally along the shore of loch ness. As my car as now covered 9000 miles from new i can only assume that the engine is well and truly run in.....as it goes like stink, mind you, i suppose the 280 re-map, the milltek and high flow cats make a big difference, i even had a guy in a scoob sti backing off At the end of the day i had to ask myself, could i own a better car for about the same money? eh.....no!

Been on that route a few years back with the old saxo (no i didn't have a burberry cap) and it is a good run up over the old cattle pass when the mist comes down. Only problem is if u get stuck behind a lorry on the loch ness road, very few over taking spots mind u don't need a lot of room for the LCR
