porsche brake kit

was wondering if u knew whether the prosrche kit for the mk4 golf with bolt onto a mk4 ibiza (6L) and do u know wat clearance i need from the disc face to back of the wheel spokes , cheers

from what i have found the porsche 996 calipers require 5mm MORE clearance than the equivalent brembo caliper.

wilwwod are cheap and require less clearance i believe.

theyre even more expensive than the brembos, i basically want 4 pots with a bigger disc size, ive seen hispec kits on streetracer.co.uk 4 a good price , either that or the porsche setup , wat r u usin on the 330mm setup on yours

I run the 993Turbo brakes on my S4.

993 turbo same as 928GTS (except the 993 are red and the 928 black) and that's what I run. They need 17" wheels but aren't overly fussy thereafter on Porsches. Depends on offset I think. I belive the 996 brakes use the same radial mount spacing but I don't know what they need for clearance.

Wilwood are cheap. For a reason. If you think cheap and brakes go happily in the same sentence then fill your boots.

im running the original cupra r brembos, with homemade brackets. youre free to take a race over to see my setup, im not that far from you stoneyford, ballygomartin rd, belfast.
