cambelt change
Can anyone recommend a realistic mileage to have my cambelt changed on my Leon Cupra? its a Jan 2001 car with 33k
Has anyone ever heard of a belt letting go on one of these engines & if so what was the mileage?. Is it recommended (like other manafacturers) to change the tensioner & idler pulleys aswell? Thanks |

Some places say don't change until 120k but I think 60k is the agreed norm. I had mine done at 58k.

Oh yeah, get the tensioner changed at the same time and the water pump is a good idea as well.
