Still debating steel pauter rods but im not sure what ill gain apart from the obvious (i'll be able to run higher torque etc...) i mean what actual road performance will be gained. 0-100 is my favorite figure to aim for. So on my return visit to Jabba's shall i keep standard rods or go to steel? My turbo is capable of 365bhp i'd like to think on std internals so the is it worth the extra monies to push 380bhp? 20bhp gain = 0-100mph differences of 0.2secs i'd image.

I am just changing the belt and pump as a precaution, also just waiting for Bills results, if they aint favourable i will go rods, s3 pistons, and valves for safety, and put a .20 housing on and leave it at that. No issues other than cracked downpipe.

Why do you think it's at Jabba.
Did you see the big wheel spin on that graph tho?

No it was to hard to see well. Its in for a boost leak fault aint it, or is it in for mapping.

I knew the results were poor for a reason.

It's for final remap it's never been set around 3k because it suffered turbulance in front of the turbo.Only makes .7bar at 3k should be doing at least 1bar.
I would never put my car on at well lane again.
1st they couldn't tie the car down(hence massive wheelspin even with 3 people sat in the car)
2nd they said my clutch was dragging..they never even noticed that it has a dogbox.
3rd they only took it to 6k and this is where all my power is when it makes1.6bar.

When mine was on at Well lane in made 327bhp but was only revved to roughly 6k, and it had bods on the front and refused to grip for the first few attempts.

Its not the most IHI friendly environment

37K on IHI on my motor which has just been removed. Running fine still, but down on power and a bit tired me thinks.
Probably the hardest beaten IHI around, and has exposed more than a few things since its original build, to the benefit for every subsequent IHI customer.

when i was writing the post i thought you'd be the highest milege

I dont see much of jabba's ex demo ibiza on here any more, last time i spoke to the owner the down pipe had cracked. I wonder how many miles that has clocked up? along with your beezer bill i'd image this has had a creative lifestyle
