Autosport - New Cupra??

Hi All,

Just back from the Autosport exhibition and thought I'd show you some pictures I took on the Seat stand. According to the girl on the stand this car is just a styling excercise from Spain. But looking at the quality of the kit and the perfectly fitting shut lines, this must be going into production, but she did deny that it was going to be the new Cupra, I think she could be lying???

Oh and there's one of me with Mr Plato.

Did you read the card by the car?

It's the SEAT Aerodynamic kit, not the new Leon.

I hope when we do see the new Cupra the front end is more like Plato's BTCC car which was just infront of it.

Front and rear bumpers both looked a bit duff IMO on the Silver car with Aero kit

I had a quick read through it and it listed all of the optional extras, but with no model, specs nor prices. That's why I asked the bird on the stand and she said it was just a styling excercise?

That's because the parts will never be sold in the UK - hence no pricing...

Available as an official New Leon accesory kit in Spain.

http://www.seat.com/com/generator/su...-kit/main.html

Kit looks great on the car, I would expect the Cupra to be different though.

Ahh, that's the spain link then. Apparently the car was only a 1600. Not sure on that rear spoiler, but the rest of the car looked pretty good.

Wouldn't the back be a lot nicer if it didn't have that silly looking centre exit exhaust.

Oh and how much had Plato had to drink?

What have they done to the Leon!? It used to be such a nice looking car. I'm sticking with my Cupra.
