Arrow got my coilovers fitted... (pics; 56k warning!)

EDIT: more pics on page 2!

had a good day.... got my FK Silverline coilovers fitted today at big boy toys!

met up with Haiden at lakeside services and on we went!

the car looks so much better and handles much better! its lowered about 35mm (dont want it anymore cos its low enough!) the car has more presence and feels more planted to the road. and as a result has more traction, thus she feels quicker! the tcs light doesnt come on as much and i dont have to feather the throatle as much when accelerating out of coners! in other words i can get th epower down better! (one thing i never thought about!)

as for ride quality im very happy... chris the mechanic commented on how he thought it was a better ride than standard! less crashy!

anyway, some pics...

low splitter!...

shaun took me out in his TT which is stage 2 revo'd (280ish bhp)... it went well (cant wait a couple of weeks till im chipped now!)

heres a pic of it... (nice front end! )

and one of their garage/r32...

all in all, a great day!

oh yea... as i had time to kill, apart from browsing the shops in lakeside with Haiden, i asked if there a a tinting place near by (as i want a sunstrip tinited) and shaun suggested crow windscreens round the corner from them... as a result im having a limo black sunstrip tinted there 2mo for £15! result! (have been quoted £45 else where!)

before i finish i must say... im very happy with the customer service that i received from Shaun and chris at BBTs! very reputable company! BIG THUMBS UP!

over and out!

james

ps. thanks H for the company!

pps. Phill... chris used my standard covers on the rear dampners like i would have if i had fitted them myself!

No i wasnt sure until they fitted it, the covers are for the front, like u say the OEM covers fit the back.

Looks very similar to yours, Forge are sending me an example of their spacer, but its a bit pricey for my liking. Think im going for 3mm front, 5mm rear, will wait to see what Rimstyle and BBT come back with prices..
