Anyone taken Cupra on a ferry?

This summer it will be the first time I take my car to France (using Speedferries). As, like you know, the front scrapes in multistory carparks, driveways etc I am a little worried that I may leave the front bumber in the ferry! Has anyone taken theirs to France on the ferry and was it okay?

Thanks in advance

Chris

If they can get ferraris and Astons on then an R isn't going to be a problem

In the past have only ever seen it crammed with fords and peugeots etc. Would like to hear an Aston V12 engine warbbling away in the bowels of the ferry

I'd be more worried about dents/scratches to the side of my car. Have you see how close together they make all the cars park??

I'd take it on the eurotunnel instead.

Cars are parked single file so you aren't going to get it scratched plus its level to drive on and off

That would prob have been best but have always used the ferry in the past (Golf GTi) and booked without thinking.

Your car will be fine. Last time I went with SpeedFerries the boat was full of porkers and Ferarri's and the odd Lambo. We were all going to Le Mann though.

But that was with 4 people, and a boot full of beer

I went of the ferry across Windemere and that wasn't pretty.

It scraped a bit getting on and a lot getting off at the other side.

Bought my LCR from Isle of White on a sunny day. It was a very enjoyable trip back to the mainland. No issues at all.

If i fill the boot up enough it might lift the front!

ive taken to very low cars on the ferry (fast cat) to the channel islands before and it has been fine. got either a dent or a scratch on the door both times though, becasue they park you so close, the old f4rts cant get in/out without bashing their door on yours!!
