Happy Campers - Part Deux, Croft

No sooner have the tents been stored and pillows placed safely on the bed, it's almost time for camping sche'nani'gans again.

I'm sure the Croft Mens Working Club will still remember the antics of last year as well as the "communial annoyance" of the pub landlord!

This year promises to be better than ever and hopefully more people camping. In line with last years antics I think we should have a couple of competitions:

Competitions are as follows, in no particular order:

1. Biggest Bonfire
2. Best BBQ
3. First to the bar (Empi5 won't even enter this one)
4. First to get naked and run the lantern gauntlet
5. Most inventive way of cooking sausages

If anyone has a metal detector for Keith before the fun and frolicking, we could play hide Keiths keys again before he has chance to lose them. Not one to start vicious rhumours but, jokes over now Phil. Cough!

Anyway, maybe some of you Southern jessies would like to par-take in the night events of BBQ jousting, tent rope hopping and kicking footballs in childrens faces. Some of these traditions have been carried over from Brands, but what the hell - Westlife at 2am is what Westlife is for.

So, let's make camping at Croft a night to remember and say it loud, say it proud "I'm a Happy Camper" and join the fun.

Craig

Well I don't anticipate the fun at Thruxton that Croft offers - hence the "who's coming to camp" post!

I cant make Thruxton and was going to make Croft my next. Will be good to make a drunken weekend out of it

Is the camping off site then, I just looked at the Croft web site and cant see any mention of camping.

Yes matey, the Camp Site is a nearby Working mens club, about a mile or so from the circuit, Basic facilities, but the biggest draw is that you are allowed into the club and enjoy wonderful prices like £1.30 a pint. Fingers crossed that they will let us back in !!!!

Sounds like a party goin down then.
Drove past Thruxton on Thursday & Friday - thats a long drive down there, didn't realise it was that far. Thought I was seeing things when I drove past StoneHendge - cool bricks though.

Croft will be funny though, I'll start a list...

1. Craig & Jo
2. Keith & Chris
3. Mal & Laura
4. Phil

Awwwwe look, the odd one! And not just because he's on his own either! (oh how I laughed when I typed that!)

And of course

5. MartyCR
6. ...

I'll bring the beer - Kronenburg ok for everyone? Phil do you think you have enough time to organise the food?

Do we need anything else?

Have fun

Craig
