RHS electric wingmirror on my '53 LC has been smacked by a 4x4 (thanks for not stopping

)

The matt black uncoated plastic bit is smashed (as is the glass), colour coded cap is fine.
Can you buy the black bit separately?
If not, will the plastic from a manual mirror work?

No, yes.

Although the matt black bit is a separate part to the motor, SEAT don't sell it separately - you can only buy it with a new motor.

The motor plus black cover is only about £80 new from Seat.

EuroCarParts do a manual mirror '"motor" for about £30.
