Please some one help cos i am really getin pi*s*d off

after giving my ibiza a bit of heavy right foot its start revving when im changing gear, everytime even when i slow down when i put clutch in revs jump higher before dropping even when foot's fully off the power
any one any ideas ????

the little switch above the clutch pedal not in place? or broken
