Bye Bye TDI
Time seems to have flown by, and I am now leaving the country in just 2 days!
Has been absolutely manic, trying to tie up loose ends, organise my finances and say goodbye to friends I may never see again. ( Unless it all goes tits up and I have to come back! ) But I have finally sold my car to a chap in southampton. And just to rub salt in the wounds, I hardly ever see many FR's or Cupra R's, but the day my car went, i got a lift in my friends jag and saw over 30 Cupra R's and cupras within the space of 2hrs near Reading! Oh well, I've had a great time owning the Leon, it was awesome to drive and looked superb too. But alas there are hardly any SEAT's in Australia ( maybe I should become an importer and give up on the whole yacht design idea ). After the great introduction the Leon has given me to VAG cars, I will definately keep it in the family (no pun intended) as there are plenty of VW and Audi's over there. So I guess this is my final farewell from England and next time I'm on the site I will be in sunny Australia, hopefully with a new car to tinker with and for you guys to help me out some more and tell me what needs doing! Cheers for any and all help that you guys have given me, and look forward to speaking to some of you from the other side of the world. Jon. aka Red LCR TDI |

Don't forget to make your mark on the map - http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/VBGooglemap.php
But you can get old skool SEAT's out there, but Skoda's are readily available in NZ That said - everyone buys Jap out there because they're so cheap

Hi guys, I'm in sydney now, Haven't seen one single SEAT since I've been here, but I know the old ones are out there. I'll put my mark on the map, when I know where i'm gonna stay permanently.
Anyone who comes out to Oz is welcome to drop me a line and i'll show you around if its the same area as me. Look forward to getting a car now, saw a '67 mustang the other day for only $11k but it had a pretty heavy rear end smash. I'll keep you updated as to what i get. |
