SEATCupra.net were invited to what SEAT call their annual SEAT Mania Press Day. Mork went last year and I was lucky enough to be able to go this year. The main focus of the day was the official UK launch of the new Alhambra and the Ibiza ST. The event took place at the Aviator Hotel in Farnborough and as well as the two new models, SEAT had lined up variations of almost every car in their entire range for attendees to take for a spin. There was even a MK1 Ibiza parked out the front and it was available to take for a drive. I didn't get a chance, but had been warned there was obviously no power steering and the clutch was a bit dodgy! As usual SEAT's technical video wizards were on hand to wire up in car cameras should journalists wish to do a review from inside the car. Having dipped my toe into the water with the in car review I did of the EXEO at the car's launch in March last year I thought I'd give it a go again for a laugh. I don't claim to be any kind of motoring journalist so my style is a bit more conversational than you may find on car mag websites.  As there were a load of LCRs lined up I had to go out for a spin in one again before I did anything else. After a quick run I returned for the press briefing on the Alhambra and the Ibiza, downed a bit of lunch and then headed out in the cars with the video set up for me. I did three runs on camera. Firstly the LCR, then the Ibiza Cupra and finally the new Alhambra. I hope you find the videos interesting, I enjoyed myself on the day and I will let you watch the videos to find out what I thought of the cars.
