SEAT’s impressive growth in fleet and business sales is set for another important boost with news of the appointment of Paul Franklin-Slattery as Specialist Sales Manager.

The newly-created role – which focuses on the precise and demanding requirements of ‘blue light’ services such as the police, as well as a range of other customers – is the latest in a number of important appointments to SEAT’s ambitious Fleet & Business Sales department.

Announcing Paul’s appointment Nick Andrews, SEAT UK’s Head of Fleet & Business Sales, said: ‘Having a dedicated expert on hand to deal with the specific demands of specialist fleets is a major step forward for SEAT.

‘I’m sure Paul will very quickly explain the particular benefits of our range of dynamic, sporty and great-looking cars to specialist fleets nationwide.’

The 36-year-old brings with him a wealth of motor industry and fleet sales experience having spent 14 years at GM UK.  There he worked across the organisation including roles covering fleet, commercial vehicles, dealer operations and customer satisfaction.

In his new role at SEAT, Paul will report to National Sales Manager Sally Livingstone-Dennis.  He will deal exclusively with specialist sales channels including the police and other emergency services, tax-free buyers, military and diplomatic sales, taxi and chauffeur fleets, among many others.

Away from the office, married Paul is an avid trail biking fan.  He also enjoys a wide variety of music with listening tastes that range from Miles Davis to Kraftwerk ‘and everything in between!’

He said: ‘The opportunity to develop specialist sales at SEAT was too good to miss.  The brand is so young, dynamic and exciting that I’m sure the appeal of cars such as the Leon, Exeo and Alhambra will very quickly lead to significant interest from specialist buyers nationwide.’
