SEAT has embarked this morning the first 250 vehicles on sale in China starting this spring. By implementing this new market, SEAT launches a maritime connection linking the ports of Barcelona monthly with Guangzhou and Tianjin. Through this line, the first linking Spain and China to carry vehicles, SEAT exported about 4,000 vehicles in 2012.

At today's ceremony was attended by the councilors of Territori i Sostenibilitat, Lluas Recoder, and i Ocupacia Company, Francesc Xavier Mena, the general director of the Port of Barcelona, Jose Alberto Carbonell, and Vice President of Government Relations and Institutional SEAT and Volkswagen Group in Spain, Ramon Paredes.
