Driveshaft Balance Weight

How the hell do some of the ibiza's run slammed on the deck. My balance weight on the drivers drive shaft if hitting the chassi leg thus not letting me steer correctly.

Mine is not even low compared to some?

Any ideas?

Snip snip, saw and sweat i did. Those things are bloody tough. Removed it and it steers like a dream, but now from 40ish mph to whatever its noisy as anything.

Sounds like a mega loud knackered wheel bearing, but it never did it before.

Could this be caused from removing it?

Anyone else removed one and noticed anything different?

Thats just going to screw up your bearings and seals in the box over time.

just moved it over a slight bit, best way i think, only needed to move it a small amount

How did u move it over, they are rubber bonded to the shaft?
