Hi,

Not for a Seat, but for my Skoda vRS.

What subframe bushes do you guys use when uprating the chassis?

I've just ordered some for a (mk1) TT Roadster that are supposed to be uprated.

Just wondering whether anyone else here has done the same on their Leon??

Regards,

Steve:)

As far as i am aware you can get poly bushes for the subframe, they make them for rear beams etc so why wouldnt they be made for subframes, also read on other forums people using powerflex subframe bushes

You'll be meaning the bushes that are a split design like on the Cupra R? Rear subframe bush, comes in an upper and lower section.

I don't recall seeing anyone on here with them - I remember a few years ago some on the vortex took a poly roller from his boat trailer and turned that down to size....

Yes they do ;)

The rear mounting points have bushes in them. (Number 2 in the picture below)

The LC has a one-piece bush, LCRs have a split design bush. (they're actually like a sandwich around an inner spacer part, less rubber so less potential for movement with the LCR ones).

I stand corrected I've dropped loads of subframes to replace arb's and never spotted a bush there.

I put that link in my thread on Briskoda, just wanted to know if they were the same as the TT bushes. The part numbers match up as the same.
