When i added my mum and dad as additional drivers my policy went down £900. Give that a try if possible.

Try brentacre pal. I was with them when i was 19 and i had quite a modified Mk4 golf GT TDI and they were charging me £1400 fully comp. Left them for adrian flux when i got my Mk4 1.8t cupra and i was paying £1100 at 21, im now 24 with 7 years protected no claims and its now £899 fully comp, went back to brentacre 2 years ago. Another good thing is you can modify as much as you want as long as you dont go over 180bhp although a filter and cat backs fine. Give them a call bud 01792 650933

You should still have accrued those years' no claims bonuses. Try getting a letter of confirmation from your previous employer/company detailing the number of years claim free driving you have had with them.

As has been said above though, look around! I'm with Adrian Flux for my TDI Cupra and I got them to match a price from Admiral (who were miles cheaper!).

no claims is ridiculous! you could have a clean license, no crashes, no convictions and been driving 25 years but 0 no claims and they whack the price up!

I've had to do the elephant 10 month booster policy for a couple of years as I haven't had the money and other companies don't care about 3/4yr claim free driving just because I don't have no claims they consider it as 0 and charge loads

Aren't there some insurance companies that take into account company car driving? Doesn't a trade policy come under the same banner?
