Ive just fitted my toyosport front mount intercooler to my facelift 2003 cupra,
I must say it was much harder than i thought, took me 7 hours and ill say im confident with a spanner, it took an hour to get the bumper off, then another 45 mins to get the old pipework out, the new pipework didnt seem to fit nicely, i done loads of searches on here and saved some pics, also mo arrifs pipework diagram, its a really tight fit, i had to chop the foglight section out of both sides of the bumper
Ive put the bumper back on, but its not quite sitting flush against the wing,
You can definately here the air getting sucked around more,
I thought it was a boost leak, doe this sound about right, ive had a stage 1 remap, it peak boosts to 13 psi for a couple of seconds then drops down to 10psi, then if i put my foot down again, itll boost back to 13 again for a couple of seconds.
Does this sound right? Im pretty sure it just sounds louder as ive also removed the sound deadning from the bonnet
