Where have you fitted the reducers? At the charge pipe and plastic map sensor pipe, or either side of the IC?

Reducers go either side of intercooler. Obviously you need 2 good jubilees either side to keep these in place. Not some cheapo ones either. I used 'murray' clamps from SFS. Expensive but not something you wanna skimp on due to boost leaks etc.

Then after the reducers it's all 63mm to charge pipe etc.

Yes if the intercooler has 76mm ends on it.

45 degrees? No, you just need 2x 76mm to 63mm reducers. Around £14 from auto performance

45 Degrees are needed off the intercooler...unless you want it hitting all of the front bumper..

Lol sorry what I meant was you can just buy a normal reducer joining a 45degree alloy pipe.

I wasn't planning on replacing the map sensor pipe is that the best way of doing it? Is the the Forge one you're using?

No easy way is using the standard map pipe.
I've used a forge one,so I can tap into the alloy pipe for my WMI.

Just to confuse you...
IF i wanst fitting WMI..i would have used..
Intercooler (using76mm pipes)
2x 45 degree 76-63mm reducers silicone
2x alloy 90 degree pipes
1x90 degree silicone hose
1x 45 degree silicone hose
2x small alloy connecting pipe
1x 90 degree silicone hose

that way you can replace the standard pipe off the metal charge pipe with a silicone one..
The map sensor etc on the other side stays standard..

Unless you want to tap into the metal pipe off the intercooler outlet..

Ive done it like that,as i had already fitted the I/C and didnt want to wait for it to get a blob of alloy for the jet fitted,that and i wanted to relocate the D/V.
I brought the forge pipe,sent it off to be welded,then installed it..that way the car wasnt off the road.

Hey Sam you mentioned earlier in this thread about they supply 2 of the same cooler one with 76mm in/outlets and one with 63mm, do you have to contact them to request witch one you want or...?
