So you're more bothered about how loud it is rather than the filtering properties to protect the maf and turbo?

Both really mate just want it abit louder av got a 80mm b5 tip and my mate making me a cone filter sheild at work just wounded if any filters are louder than others

I'm using an ITG cone filter. No complaints so far and sound quite nice too.

How are them mate and where from?

Not bad. It's a foam filter with an alloy neck/base so pretty light. I got it from Merlin Motorsport, for some reason you can't buy them directly from ITG.

I wanted to post some pictures but I don't think I'm allowed yet 'cos I'm a noob and my post count hasn't reached the limit

How much was it mate? 80mm neck I take it like the Jetex FR/FC cone's?

I think it was £49 + VAT. Some of the odd diameters they do are more expensive though. I went for a 70mm OD neck on the filter and also bought a piece of silicone tube with a 70mm ID to fit onto the MAF (MAF is also 70mm OD). That way I didn't have to use any reducers. I've read on here that a lot of people are using the Jetex/JR filters but I wanted to try something different.

I'm also using something different for a dump valve from the usual Forge set up. I've go a Turbosmart recirculating valve. Made in Australia and I must say the machining on it feels very good.
