"The seat really isn't fun at all to drive..."

Interesting comment, I've had some pretty good cars and I find my FR is a really good drive for a normal hatch.

And this is the opposite result of testing the same cars in this month's What Car where the Leon ST FR184 tdi is the overall test winner!

he couldn't have tried to drive it quickly, could he?
or he had a 150 by mistake....it's a cracking drive when you want to boot it, and subtle when you don't.
I like mine.

I agree, I rag mine about and I love it. He stated the steering was light to, should have put it in sport mode and drove it like he stole it.:drive1:
its amazing what a columnist will say for a freebie from rival manufacturers, just saying like:whistle:

Isn't it just! And austere? That's hardly accurate. It a nice simple uncluttered interior that does everything it needs to do without looking complicated and intimidating. Some find lots of buttons unintuitive but that doesn't seem to factor into the average columnists point of view.

Again I agree, no where near the fuss on the dash like the Focus, Focus is like a plane cockpit. Most manufacturers are going down the minamilist route, more eyes on the road rather than faffing about with the dash IMO.

The review did mention over-assisted brakes which I have to agree with. The Leon brakes are undeniablyvery sharpwith the lightest of touch at low speed but lacking a bit of feel and progressiveness IMO.
