I'd agree its a jacked up hatchback marketed to the suv sector. It doesn't handle as well as a sports car or go as quick as the equivalent hot hatch but its more practical than both.

CUV! What’s that? A Comfy Utility vehicle, sure it should be a PUV, Performance Utility Vehicle, never a sports car, only IMHO.

Even tho the VZ5 Formentor won the "Golden Steering Wheel prize for best “SUV” segment, as per all the articles about it, the car is obviously a Crossover Hatchback

Love my formentor VZ1 245 phev and much prefer it to my previous M140i in every aspect bar the 3.0 straight six engine...mind you my average mpg over 7009 miles is just under 100 mpg compared to the 29 I was getting with the bimmer.

Personally I find the performance of my phev to be more than adequate and certainly sporty when you have all that torque on tap and a combined output of 245 bhp.
It handles bloody well too.

I get it. I regret buying this car. Since August, I had only problems with it and nothing works properly.
Waiting for them to change my infotainment system because of errors that prevent updates but because of semiconductor issues, there are no available parts.. Waiting since the 8th of February. They already replaced the electric motor, gearbox and some other parts and they did not agree to take it back and give me my money so I'm stuck with it. If I try to sell it now, I'm loosing money.

For me the most important part is Apple Car Play issue (Function is not available error when I open Full Link app) but no one knows what the issue and solution is. Cupra itself says in one mail Full Link via USB cable is in the car, and in next mail they say it is not available. One "Cupra Specialist" service says Full Link is not available in Formentor VZ e-Hybrid, and another one says it is known issue by Cupra and "could be" fixed after 3-4 months. I gave Cupra my VIN in my every email request but still they have no clue what is in the car, and what is not.

I never saw such incompetent customer service before. I never had such issues with Volvo and Mercedes services.

Considering the price, I was expecting premium quality and service but nope.

Yea , i get it. As far as i know carplay came standard on all formentors. The only dif is that some countries have wireless and some don’t. I have almost the same prb. I paid for wireless apple carplay but i don’t have access to it. They told me no worries that from December 2021 it will be available here as well and I can enable it. 6 months later (few weeks ago) they told me it’s not available yet and they don’t have am eta. Wired carplay doesn’t not connect automatically like in my old car, bluetooth is the same, does not connect automatically.. the whole infotainment system is a joke.
Customer service is indeed terrible, car is terrible.. my whole experience was terrible…

I wish wired Carplay works but nope. Also, it is rarely connecting to my phone's hotspot and built-in Apple Music is very bad. If it manages to connect to my hotspot by miracle, it asks Apple Music to login every time. Navigation is also very bad. I need my iOS apps :( Let's see if I can manage to sell this without much loss.

Android is working perfectly wired and unwired (Google pixel 6)
Having said that my wife's iPhone 13 mini works flawlessly too

My previous car to the Formentor was a BMW 140 I 3 door so I was use to the fast lane so with the F type I am back there.
I know people say the four cylinder doesn’t sound as good as the v6 or v8 how ever in dynamic mode with the exhaust open in my opinion it sounds good especially after the Formentor imitation noises in Cupra mode.
Very weird that you swapped for a Jaguar due to reliability worries as they aren't know for their reliability either but man the f-type is a beauty. F-type R is a dream car.
