It also means no items can be carried on roof bars (if that's a concern). Plus be sure get it "serviced" properly by your chosen garage, otherwise seals may perish resulting in leaks etc. If SEAT are anything like Toyota, adding it will mean no spacesaver - as the weight of the roof is considerable, so to keep within the emissions limits, the spare is dumped.

I have a spare wheel and the panoramic sunroof.

Why you can't carry items on roof bars? They are not on the sunroof area.

Cool. And I'm probably mistaken about the roof loading - certainly the Toyota stated that it was not allowed with the pan roof, but SEAT may be different.

I really don't know but haven't seen any info about it. The roof bars are there.

If anyone knows for sure, please share.

Thanks for feedback. Must admit the cabin seems quite and airy anyway but I do like the look of it

One thing to keep in mind is that you lose internal space when you have a panoramic sunroof. Mechanism for the sunroof needs to sit somewhere and it lower the ceiling slightly. It's not a huge deal but if you are basketball player tall, might be smarter to do without the sunroof.

Not sure I would recommend it, on a gray car it doesn't really stand out as much but it does help with internal light and there is a cool factor when sitting on the back seat.

I have it. It is electricly operated, both the window and the blinds. I enjoy it, but as a driver usually you do not really enjoy the panoramic sunroof as it is directly overhead. Your passengers, especially on the back bench get to enjoy it.
I have the panoramic roof and it adds to he airiness of the cabin. As it's tinted, I can't say I notice any watermarks and generally would recommend. On the warmer days of the year so far, it's been quite nice to have the top open and haven't notice undue wind noise either

I understand they've just announced the other engines. I would potentially suggested the 2.0 245PS (Golf GTI engine). It's FWD only so will get better MPG than the 310 and it'll have more than enough power for what you want. I'm surprised more people aren't leaning that way, particularly with its price (~£35k)
I have!

I think you are right it sounds really interesting for me but such a shame its only in VZ1 spec. This seems a strange choice and would be a no go for me as would really want the nice leather, heated seats, reverse camera seems a missed opportunity

Has anyone driven both the 1.5 and the 310 and can give a meaningful comparison.

I would assume the 1.5 is probably still well suited with DSG. Not sure I really want a manual
Reverse cam is on the spec sheet for the UK.
Wasn't keen on leather and not bothered about heated seats as the cloth bases are warmer in the first place plus it saves a little weight as a small bonus.

Personally I'd have a Pan roof and other options over some of the standard VZ2 ones. Also keeping it under the 40k tax band is a smart move if you're buying. Good choice (y)
