sweet man, might try that then front components and rear coaxial and see how that goes first..as said am just looking to get better quality.. I do miss the sub and 6x9 set up but its a pita to get all wiring done :D
thanks again for the help tho mate.
yeah he said they come with cross overs.. uk ano mate you could spend an arm and a leg but am not wanting to go down that route.. sold all my stuff when sold ma last car and a wee speaker upgrade should hopefully do it justice..
whats with the rear tweeters why is it coaxial in back for the...
And is it a big improvement and are you happy with it mate
Thats the other option, was looking for someone who has maybe done this and make sure the standard tweeter is cool with upgrade.
Again another option mate but think they are workin out about £50 to £60 a pair so would rather just...
yeah i dont want anything hardcore lol just a nice upgrade that can go past 12-14 vol with out sounding horrible, spoke to my mate who works in halfords after a posted this and he said the same coaxial are ok but the components would be slightly better and better quality.
Well after 3 months the leons speakers are absolute $hite!! Cant handle it anymore and looking to upgrade..
Seen a few options but wondering what yous have done and if happy?
component or coaxial and what to do with standard tweeters to upgrade or not?
I was the same thinking it wasnt pulling very good mpg.. was getting about 42-46 on my daily commute, which my fabia vrs was easily able to get over 58mpg.
Went in the other day to chop it in against possibly a new fr as they are claiming and extra 10mpg(64.9mpg) 180bhp and 14mpg(68.9mpg) on...
the more i look at them they are growing on me also Just not much of a difference from a standard new leon, think thats why the supercopa jumped out with the btcc kit, tick lights, bbs alloys and all the spec inside .. would be interesting to see what i get for a trade in tho against the new one.
haha thats exactly like i was.. no need to drive sensibly with the fabia and it still said over 60mpg but when i was saying about it on briskoda they were saying not to believe the mpg display on the vrs.. and it kinda made sense cause i was in the fuel station more with the fabia.. but am at...
yeah i was hoping for something along those lines with the supercopa..think the best i have had and driving like miss daisy what is hard was 52.1mpg.. and the new ones were all quoting 65-69mpg so quiet a difference for a daily driver. Just wasnt sure if they were true or not..
Looking for a bit of information please of actual real mpg in the 150s and 184 Diesels FRs, I bought my Mk2 supercopa in Oct14 and cant seem to get the mpg i was hoping for.
I average about 50 miles a day mostly motorway or a roads and hit a wall at 49-50 mpg i know its not...
Right tried that and the passanger outside one has nothing and the rest all have the vibrating/pulsating feeling. So assuming that one is dead. Is it a easy replacement or better go back to garage.. Not really dealt way parking sensors before
Been searching through all the parking sensors threads and cant seem to find a solution before a take the car back to the dealer.
Everytime from starting the car if i select reverse there is a long beep then tells me on display optical parking sensors are not working. looked in...
I would have imagined with a map and more of a eco right foot you should have got more unless you go all out for a full performance map.. When i mapped my old vrs i was getting slightly better mpg and a good bit more punch.
rab if the 18s from my leon fit you can come down to my house and swap them or take them away what ever suits you mate..if you fancy trying this. A finish up work today so dont need the motor or a can use the corsa or evo
If any one can confirm would leon mk2 supercopa alloys fit rabs??
