I know OBDEleven have the one click apps that turn features on and off as o have some experience with it.....go to their website and you can see what Apps are available to your specific model of car.
I’d imagine Carista would have a similar thing on their website but I don’t know for sure...

Find a local VAG specialist go there get them to read it and quote you, they shouldn’t charge much for a fault find.
Or like was said previously get yourself Carista or I use OBDEleven to read the faults yourself if your happy doing that.

I have noticed with the cold mornings when I first start up there is a ticking sound, as I increase the accelerator pedal the noise gets quicker, it also happens when I drive but cant hear it once im above 30mph and the car has warmed up.

Sounds like they’re just trying to get money off of you, check your service schedule in you service book, if it in there and required then it’ll probably affect your warranty if you don’t do it.....
In my opinion if it works it shouldn’t need doing, I havnt had mine done and mines 4 years old...
Guess if I can try and change before everything is due I will just keep on teasing the dealer and see what they offer me.
