Personally, I’d say the move over to AWD for me was definitely worth it. Much better traction in all weathers and it suits the needs of the driving I do. I just want to get home safe and quickly after a long day at work without having to worry about grip all the time!
Have a look on Drive the Deal for some easily achievable prices/ discounts. Also gives an overview of some of the offers SEAT have on at the moment. I think dealers are offering a deposit contribution and/ or 0% finance on PCP deals.
I’d seriously consider looking at some of the other deals around as this seems incredibly extortionate. Especially as this is PCP with a payment at the end. Unless prices have gone up hugely in the last two years, just have a look :-)
All that aside, great choice of car though!
Perhaps somewhat controversially, I think I’m stock form the Mk3 struggles for grip much more than the Mk2 Cupra. Even taking into account a stage 1 Mk2 which would be similar power. Admittedly an insert does fix it, I don’t understand why they didn’t have something similar from the factory!
