Hi ajf3011

Photos of your car look great, do like the mirror covers , are they Seat clip ons or wrapped. Im not the best IT person, better at gaffer tape and cable ties. How do get photo on the thread like you have done rather than looking elsewhere.

Cheers Mark

Cheers Mark

Mirror covers are the OEM Seat ones. Original mirror covers were easy to remove, used a Bojo trim removal tool to get them loose then just pull off, need to be a bit gentle as the clips are pretty fragile. New ones just clip on in their place.

I'm not the best with computer stuff either, but followed the advice on this thread and got the pics posted without a problem http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=239550

Sorry Dave but the one you've ordered is the wrong one, it's very similar but just doesn't quite fit, how do I know? Because I made the same mistake, took it back today to Audi while picking up the ECU cover. Close but just not close enough.

Great will have to get it canceled tomorrow and reorder the right one. Hopefully it's not too late

Managed to get it canceled and get correct part number ordered. This time it's gotta come from Spain lol.

Cheers, would have liked one of the high sided OEM boot liners but couldn't justify £120 for one!
The one I've got in there was only £25 and does the job of protecting the carpet.

Thanks, engine covers are a doddle to fit.
The cover over the screen wash/power steering reservoirs just sits in place, there is a fixing kit but I haven't found it necessary. Scuttle cover again just sits in place and is held by the rubber seal across the front of the bulkhead.:

Sorry to be a pain but what holds the washer bottle cover in place as I tried fitting mine today but it didn't look very secure.

No problem Dave. On mine the cover sits in place quite securely but there's a fixing point on the right side of the cover as you look at it which should line up with a fixing point on the edge of the engine bay.
Pretty sure I've still got the fixings in my garage, don't really need them for mine so if you want them PM me your address and I'll post them to you (assuming I can find them that is :D)

Having been sidetracked with various other things haven't really got round to any of the items on my to-do list

Did take inspiration from Seafar99's pics and got round to finishing off my scuttle panel with a modified ECU cover.

Part number 8E2 907 613 D, trimmed off the rear so it sits flush and packed with packaging foam. Had a piece of the bulkhead rubber seal left in the garage so cut that down to finish off at the edge.

Also needed a new phone holder so decided to try the Brodit Proclip. Easy to fit, no screwing into the dash, and very secure once installed. Only negative is that the cradle needs to be removed to allow the screen on the RNS to flip open, however it's only one screw so no real hardship.

Nice work on the ECU cover. The Rs4 Aircon pipe cover can also be made to work by fitting a securing bracket through the air feed tunnel and minimal trimming round the fuel filter.

Cheers, the ECU cover definitely tidies the bay up.
Saw you'd got the pipes cover to fit, next time I'm in TPS for other bits I may order one up.

Also noticed on your car you've got the piano black gear stick, did you buy that or was it on the car when you got it?
Would like one for mine but can't find them anywhere other than Seat for £80.

Your car's looking great by the way [B)]
