Yep I have this is why I'm fitting the S3 strut brace hoping it would help?

Do you already have this??

If it doesn't help then maybe upping the front ARB to 22mm (Golf R32 if it fits?) we don;t want too much understeer though??

I'm talking about slightly reduced feel or slight delay in turn-in nothing serious, my car corners very flat no noises.

In my opinion it was just the front end needs tightening up to compensate for the rear.

Think the car needs something on the front, will comment back when i get the strut brace on.....shame the neuspeed strut brace didn;t fit day one

probably not a good idea to compare my car and yours, the coilovers have lowered the car and uprated the suspension, spacers mean a wider track, wider wheels therefore could be far more accentuated on your car or my car.

I get an amount of vagueness in a straight line, but I haven't noticed it on turn in (25mm bar on middle setting).

I wonder if we can find out what the different bar/setting combs give in terms of stiffness...

If it makes a difference to you guys most ibiza owners have uprated the bars in pairs

As we have the lower strut brace as standard I didn;t want to go too much too soon and get shed load of understeer

But a lower brace isn't the same as an arb

It would feel more like that as you have stiffened up the rear roll resistance

No I realise that what I mean is that the arse end is the only thing on an LCR that felt like it rolled too much. So I added the rear ARB.

To stiffen the front we have three options
Upper Strut Brace
Lower Strut Brace
Front ARB

Without the resources available to VAG I have to make do with trial and error

Don't get that on mine, but again the wider track and Coilovers will be helping

Sounds like the Front ARB could be a good move then for me with my Bilstein and Neuspeed set up

It is all written based on mk2 golf type platform but makes for useful reading

I think the same principles could apply to many front engined front drive cars. He talks about the front being the cause of most roll

Agreed it's on the Mk2 Golf which more than anything else is lighter, but if this applies to the Mk2 Golf then 'similar' priciples 'should' apply.

Think I will try and see if the Golf R32 22mm front ARB does fit on the LCR (as rumoured) if not then i'll buy a Neuspeed 25mm for the MK1V Golf.

Glad I haven't rushed things and personally I find it interesting to see the difference as I go along.......
