It's completly different tuning firm and completly different car.
This Lupo is FWD. With 1,9 was Blue and now with 2,0 is Grey.

This car is pure diesel without lpg or something.

Think I've seen a clip of that Lupo on TDIclub. Black isn't it? I'm hoping mine will be around 240PS with the lpg running.
You noticed that Lupo as well then mate. It was running propane,NOS and a 2.1 stroker kit  .

@ CompSport What turbo did you use to get those figures and at what boost?

Turbocharger is our secret. I can tell that this is not na Hybrid. It's a Garrett VNT Charger called CS stage 2. We are runin on 1,85 bar.

Sounds like the modified cam helps a lot with the 1.9 in the second one. Its the only essential difference between my motor and this one. Mine's entirely still stock inside. Would love to know about race cams. :D There seems to be a mystery about them. I even have a spare pd150 cam that I'd happily use on exchange.

I'm a rubbish mechanic but I'm trying to get my head around the workings of a race cam. Are the lobes on it more pronounced than stock, so the process of injection / combustion is more pronounced, so it gives more power?

Was wondering also, where the power was measured - wheels or flywheel? Often wondered as it seems a hell of a battle when it comes to transmission losses and accurate readouts.

In general, by altering the profile of the cam lobes, you can change:
1) The opening and closing times of the valves relative to the combustion cycle
2) The rate of opening/closing of the valves
and
3) The opening distance of the valves.

Not too familiar with cam tuning with respect to TDIs though....

Still impressed with the 2.0 TDI engine in the lupo. How is the engine management done? Is it stand alone, or did you manage to use all the electrics from the 2.0 TDI original car?

Good videos! :D

In the begining it was 1,7 SDI. then we change the angine to 1,9PD and 6 Speed gearbox. We had to change the electrics and use the EDC15P ECU.
When we install 2,0 16V PD we had to modified the G28 Sensor (crankshaft positon sensor), G40 (camshaft position sensor) and we made it.
Our BKD is runin on EDC15P ECU, not like in a new cars on EDC16.
But the program is compleatly new only for this car, for example we are runin without air mass meter.
The fuel quantity is from the boost pressure.

If you want some re profiled cams mate phone Allards as they have some in for the 1.9 PD , also got a nice ported head laying around.
